Our Story
Scissortail Casting is a casting company led by Erika O'Bar, a veteran producer and casting director with two decades of experience in the film industry. Erika's passion for supporting and promoting the arts in Oklahoma led her to establish O'Bar Artists Agency in 2020, representing exceptional on-camera and voiceover talent globally. Realizing the industry's demand for an experienced casting director, Erika decided to shift her focus from agency work to casting after careful consideration. She closed O'Bar Artists Agency to concentrate on creating enhanced acting opportunities and guidance for talent, and delivering positive casting experiences for her clients.

Erika's diverse background in the entertainment industry has equipped her with a wealth of knowledge and expertise across various genres. From her work on feature-length military films to classified military projects, and from commercials to live events, Erika has demonstrated her versatility and creativity in several departments.
Not only is Erika skilled at producing, but she also has a keen eye for detail and a talent for makeup artistry and costume design. Her experience ranges from working at prestigious events held at The White House to collaborating on true crime shows, military projects, and national commercials. Brands like Apple, Audi, Under Armour, and Nike have all benefitted from Erika's creative input and meticulous attention to detail.
