CASTING CALL: The University of Oklahoma Quest K20

SUBMISSION DEADLINE : MAY 7, 8PM CST

The K20 Center for Educational and Community Renewal (K20 Center) is seeking native English and Spanish-speaking actors for short-form videos. These short-form videos will be delivered to parents and students across 28 high-poverty, mostly rural schools in Oklahoma. Videos will be uploaded to and delivered through the K20 Center’s QUEST (Quick and Useful Exploration of Skills and Strategies with Technology) app.
The K20 Center is seeking actors that are representative of the diverse group of families served by these school districts. Selected actors will be part of a larger pool of talent that will be pulled from for various video shoots. Actors must be native English or Spanish-speakers prepared to read scripts written in English or Spanish.
QUEST video shoots primarily take place on the University of Oklahoma campus in Norman. The rate of compensation is $250 for each half-day shoot. This project is ongoing over the next 5 years. Ideally, applicants should be prepared to work multiple shoots during this time period.
If interested, please submit a video audition to scissortailsubmissions@gmail.com. Clearly film yourself reading the attached script. The script is a small sample of the wide variety of QUEST scripts produced by the K20 Center.
